Final judgement for criminal procedure
regarding the seller/manufacturer of "ReFa" counterfeit products
has been determined in China

A raid has been conducted by the Chinese public security against counterfeit suppliers of ReFa CARAT and ReFa CARAT RAY, which are the products of our beauty brand ReFa. The suppliers have manufactured and sold a large number of counterfeits. After the raid, a criminal trial progressed, and Chinese court ruled on the case recently. This is the first case where the judgement became final and binding to MTG.
MTG will continue fighting against counterfeits so that our customers can use our products safely.

【Background】
In December 2017, the Chinese public security caught counterfeit suppliers in Shenzhen City, Guangdong province, China, and arrested seven suspects.
The judgment on the main criminal sentence was a combination of three year and nine month imprisonment without a stay of execution, and a fine of 1.4 million RMB.
