To make people around the world VITAL.

GO VITAL.

MTG aims to realize the vibrant and healthy lives of people around the world, as outlined in our business vision "VITAL LIFE." Through the development of brand products in the HEALTH, BEAUTY, and HYGIENE categories, we have continued to grow, achieving our highest-ever sales in the fiscal year ending September 2024.

MTG has launched beauty, health, and hygiene brands such as ReFa and SIXPAD, evolving alongside their growth. As a brand development company, we have consistently launched new brands over the past decade.

We are dedicated to pushing each of our brands to the next stage over the next 10 years. We will refine each brand, take on new challenges with additional brands and products, and nurture our brands born in Japan to become globally recognized.

The MTG Group is blessed with fantastic companions—passionate employees, their families, partners, customers, shareholders, and the local community. With many supportive partners, our corporate resources have become more abundant, creating a robust business environment for continued significant growth and evolution.

Together with our companions, we pursue dreams. Under the new management structure, aiming for greater heights, MTG will continue to embrace challenges.

President and Representative Director,

Tsuyoshi Matsushita

Profile

Tsuyoshi Matsushita

Born in 1970 on the Goto Islands in Nagasaki Prefecture, he was raised by an adoptive family. After learning of his adoption in childhood, he resolved to repay their support by becoming an entrepreneur.

A teacher’s remark that Toyota — Japan’s greatest company — was headquartered in Aichi, combined with his admiration for the Three Great Unifiers who hailed from the same region, led him to choose Aichi as the place to pursue his ambitions.

After graduating high school, he joined Denso Corporation and worked in housing sales. In 1994, at age 23, he started his own business and founded Blaze, which became the predecessor to MTG. He established MTG in 1996.

An encounter with the late Kazuo Inamori taught him the importance of articulating and embedding principles and values across an organization. Since then, corporate philosophy has been central to his management.

The motto “gratitude and challenge”—pursuing new challenges driven by gratitude—has guided his leadership.

He received the Inamori Prize for Business Leaders in 2019 and was awarded the Medal with Blue Ribbon in October 2021. In 2023 he founded the Nagasaki Matsushita Foundation.
