ReFa Brand Enters Women-Only Motorsports Series
KYOJO CUP as "Team ReFa"
Supporting Motorsports and Japan's Automotive Industry with "VITAL BEAUTY"
MTG Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture; President and CEO: Tsuyoshi Matsushita) announces that it will form "Team ReFa with AIWIN" and compete in the internationally acclaimed women-only motorsports series "KYOJO CUP" starting from the 2026 season. A media briefing was held on February 5th to coincide with this announcement.
This time, as an action symbolizing the ReFa brand's "VITAL BEAUTY" concept and driven by our desire to support female athletes' challenges, we have welcomed "Team AIWIN," led by Ai Miura, one of Japan's leading female drivers, as a business partner. We are pleased to announce the launch of the motorsports team "Team ReFa with AIWIN."
The ReFa brand, with its "VITAL BEAUTY" concept, launched its signature roller in 2009 and has since expanded to include hair dryers, irons, hair brushes, recovery wear, and various other items. Furthermore, last November saw the opening of its first flagship store, "ReFa GINZA," continuing to promote the brand not only domestically but globally.
■ Driver Introduction
The drivers competing for "Team ReFa with AIWIN" are Ai Miura and Itsumo Shiraishi. Team representative Ai Miura, a two-time KYOJO CUP champion, returns to the KYOJO CUP after a three-year hiatus. She will support the growth of young driver Itsumo Shiraishi as they aim for the series championship together.

Additionally, the ReFa brand has become a series partner of the KYOJO CUP. Using the power of "VITAL BEAUTY," we will support all drivers and female staff involved in motorsports.
Furthermore, we will gradually expand unique ReFa brand experiences for attending customers, aiming to spark interest in motorsports among more people and create a vibrant atmosphere at the circuit.
■ About the KYOJO CUP
The KYOJO CUP is a women-only racing series founded by legendary driver Masanori Sekiya, the first Japanese driver to win the overall title at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. This year marks the series' 10th anniversary since its inception in 2017. The switch to formula cars in 2025 has further elevated the driving level, and the intense battles among the 22 competitive women (KYOJO) are drawing increasing attention from the global racing scene.
Team ReFa Motorsports Project Announcement
On February 5th, a media project announcement was held at ReFa GINZA.
Attending the announcement were Chairman Matsushita, two drivers, and Masanori Sekiya.
Team ReFa with AIWIN Chairman (President & CEO, MTG Inc.) Takeshi Matsushita Comment
As the first step in sharing ReFa's philosophy of "VITAL BEAUTY" beyond Japan to the world, we have decided to compete in the KYOJO CUP as "Team ReFa with AIWIN". By aiming for victory in the intense environment of competitive racing and embodying ReFa's spirit through our relentless pursuit of pushing boundaries, we will expand this challenge into an action that supports people who take on challenges positively, including supporting women's advancement. We sincerely hope our valued customers who use ReFa products daily, our shareholders, and our business partners will take an interest in this team and cheer us on together.
Furthermore, through repeated encounters with Chairman Akio Toyoda, Masanori Sekiya, and Ai Miura, I have come to truly appreciate how motorsports have honed Japan's automotive industry and technology, fostering a culture of challenge. We will earnestly embrace the insights and lessons gained through this initiative, striving to convey the appeal and potential of the KYOJO CUP to a wider audience.
Comment from Ai Miura, Representative and Racing Driver of Team ReFa with AIWIN
I am Itsumo Shiraishi, and I will be competing in the KYOJO CUP Formula series with ReFa with AIWIN. I am deeply grateful to everyone at MTG, who provided me with this invaluable opportunity, and to all the team members.
I started karting in fifth grade, made my four-wheel debut in 2024, and competed full-time in the KYOJO CUP Formula in 2025. Currently a first-year university student studying design, I balance my studies with racing. I use ReFa products like the Heart Brush and hair dryer daily, so racing for a team from a company so familiar to me brings immense surprise and gratitude. While I expect to learn much in this new environment, I will give my all in every race to contribute to the team. I aim to repay your support with results and growth, and to deliver excitement to everyone watching.
Your support and cheers mean everything!

Comment from Masanori Sekiya, Interproto Motorsports Co., Ltd. / KYOJO CUP Organizer
Racing is a world where not only skill and speed, but also mental and physical condition determine the outcome.
The concept of "taking care of yourself" proposed by ReFa is a crucial element for female drivers to continue challenging themselves for a long time and in good health.
Team ReFa should become a presence that presents new value within the KYOJO CUP.
As a team supporting both racing as a sport and growth as a life journey, I sense tremendous potential.
"Team ReFa with AIWIN" is a racing team carrying the aspirations of our stakeholders who support the ReFa brand and the fans who love the ReFa brand.
We will strive to make this new challenge a catalyst for the future growth of the ReFa brand and the Japanese automotive industry.
